Our Story
InternationalFast3s was born from a vision to revolutionize how young players learn, experience, and love the beautiful game of football.
After years of observing traditional football formats, founder Ryan Docherty saw that many children weren't getting enough touches on the ball. In larger-sided games, many children could go minutes without involvement, slowing skill development and reducing enjoyment.
That's when the idea for a format focused on maximum involvement, decision-making, and character development took shape. Today, InternationalFast3s has grown from a small local program to an innovative approach to youth football that's changing how we develop the next generation of players.

About Ryan
With over 15 years of professional coaching experience across academy, grassroots, and elite youth football, Ryan Docherty is passionate about developing young players — not just technically, but as thinkers, leaders, and people.
Having come through the ranks at Glasgow Celtic F.C and served under renowned managers such as Tommy Burns, Ryan has dedicated his life to the development of young football players.
Ryan founded On The Ball Academy, which now serves over 400 kids across multiple programs, before developing the revolutionary InternationalFast3s format based on years of observation and innovation in youth coaching.
